The Girabola 1990 was the 12th season of the Girabola , the top division in football in Angola . 14 teams took part, each of which had to compete against each other twice.

Petro Luanda from the capital Luanda won the championship for the fifth time in direct succession. With Primeiro de Agosto's cup victory, the Angolan Cup also went to the capital. The following Angolan Supercup decided Primeiro de Agosto for himself.
