Girabola 1987

The Girabola 1988 was the 10th season of Girabola , the top division in football in Angola . 14 teams took part, each of which had to compete against each other twice. The season began on February 21, 1988, the exact end in the same year is not recorded. Mainly due to the turmoil and destruction of the Angolan civil war (1975–2002), not all match days were played in full, and not all of the season's dates are recorded.

The Petro Luanda from the capital Luanda won its fifth national championship, the third in a row. The DG Sagrada Esperança from Dundo won the Angolan Cup for the first time . The following Angolan Supercup was not held this time.

Primeiro de Agosto's striker Manuel was the top scorer with 16 goals.
