Goshen County is a county in the state of Wyoming in the United States . At the 2010 census , Goshen County had 13,249 residents. The county seat is Torrington .

The county covers an area of 5781 square kilometers, of which 18 square kilometers are water. It is bordered clockwise by the counties: Niobrara County , Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska, Sioux County (Nebraska), Banner County (Nebraska), Laramie County, and Platte County .

Goshen County's population was 12,538 as of the 2000 census . There were 5,061 households and 3,426 families. The population density was 2 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 93.83% White, 0.20% African American, 0.86% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, and 3.65% other races Groups; 1.14% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 8.83% percent of the population.

Of the 5,061 households, 28.60% had children and adolescents under the age of 18 living with them. 56.70% were married couples living together, 7.70% percent were a single mother, 32.30% were non-families. 27.60% were single households and 13.10% had someone who was 65 years of age or older.
