Goshen County's population was 12,538 as of the 2000 census . There were 5,061 households and 3,426 families. The population density was 2 people per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 93.83% White, 0.20% African American, 0.86% Native American, 0.20% Asian, 0.12% Pacific Islander, and 3.65% other races Groups; 1.14% from two or more races.
