history

The Urhof is documented in a land register in Schaumberg no later than 1371 . Gstaltenhof stands as a house name to a personal name Gstaltner, Staltner .

In the early 19th century, a Michael Burglehner at the Reischlgut (HNr. 2) was on record as the ringleader of the Hartkirchner in the course of the peasant rebellions that flared up again.

The Eferding glider airfield ( ICAO code LOLE) with a grass runway has existed here since 1963 . It is operated by the Eferding Glider Pilot and Model Club (SMBC Eferding). The reason was provided by Heinrich Starhemberg, who owned the grounds around the Schaumburg (Schaunburg) ruins at the time, and himself an enthusiastic aviator.
