Debut album Listen Up! (2012)

After she left American Idol , Haley Reinhart signed a recording deal with 19 Entertainment / Interscope Records . Together with American Idol participant Casey Abrams , she recorded the Christmas song Baby, It's Cold Outside, originally written by Frank Loesser , and released it on November 21, 2011, and the accompanying music video on November 15.

Her debut album, Listen Up! combines elements of R&B, soul, rock, pop, jazz and funk. The album, for which she wrote several songs herself, should, according to Reinhart, be authentic and have substance. The first single from it, Free , was released on March 20, 2012 and reached number 104 in the singles chart and number 38 in the Adult Pop Songs. The album also features the song Oh My , a collaboration with rapper BoB . Listen up! finally launched on May 22, 2012. and reached number 17 on the album charts in the first week with 20,000 copies sold. The song Undone was starred in the 2012 dance film Step Up Revolution , the fourth installment in the Step Up film series.

Haley Reinhart can be heard in the song Hit the Road Jack on Casey Abrams' debut album . Reinhart made a guest appearance in the television series 90210 in early 2012 and sang her song Free there .

Better and other projects

In November 2012, her record contract with Interscope Records was not renewed. In March 2013 it was announced that she was working on a new EP, the release date of which has not yet been set. In February 2014 she started a crowdfunding campaign on the Indiegogo portal for the music video for her new song Show Me Your Moves! finance. The campaign was successfully completed in April. The video, which was published on YouTube on July 13, 2014, shows Haley after her plane crash-landed. Another song of hers, Listen , is featured on Showtime's Years of Living Dangerously .

On October 22nd, 2014 it was announced that Haley Reinhart had signed a contract with the independent rights marketer Ole, which will also support her with the release of her new EP. Since 2015 she has appeared several times in the band Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox , which plays cover versions of contemporary music in a jazz style.

Around four years after her debut album, Reinhart released her second album Better on April 29, 2016 . The cover of Elvis Presley's Can't Help Falling in Love also included in the album sold over 200,000 copies.

The third album, What's That Sound? , was released by Concord Records on September 22, 2017 and brings eleven cover versions of rock pop classics from the 1960s as well as three new original tracks. The singer herself describes the album as a bow to songs and bands that influenced her childhood and career.

In 2018, Haley Reinhart released Last Kiss Goodbye, a new single of his own, which is a lo-fi pop production, with the swing of Bossa Nova . The singer can also be heard in the single Something Strange by the Dutch DJ duo Vicetone .
