Awesome buzzer
The Hammer Summer is a summer open air concert evening free of charge for visitors on the market square at the Pauluskirche in Hamm with well-known artists from the national and international rock / pop business. It is financed by Stadtmarketing Hamm and sponsors such as Stadtwerke Hamm and Sparkasse Hamm . Organizers are Uwe Sauerland from the city of Hamm and the municipal utilities.
The Hammer Summer emerged from a concert by Achim Reichel at a port festival in Hamm in 2001, which was canceled due to storms with heavy rain. Reichel therefore returned to Hamm in the summer of the same year and performed in front of the Pauluskirche .
