Hansruedi Wandfluh

Hansruedi Wandfluh (born January 16, 1952 in Bern , resident in Kandergrund ) is a Swiss politician ( SVP ).

Life and political office

After successfully completing his degree as an engineer ( ETH) , the entrepreneur active in the fields of electronics and hydraulics sat on the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern between 1998 and 1999 , before being elected to the National Council in the 1999 elections . He was President of the Commission for Economy and Taxes of the National Council and Vice-President of the SVP parliamentary group. He resigned at the end of 2014.

Wandfluh is a conservative and cautiously economically liberal politician. He advocates a restrictive migration policy and advocates Law and Order . He is very critical of demands for more environmental protection or a further opening up of Switzerland's foreign policy.

The entrepreneur is an officer in the Swiss Army with the rank of first lieutenant.

Hansruedi Wandfluh is married and has three children.
