Christine Häsler (born January 11, 1963 in Unterseen ; resident in Lütschental and Wilderswil ) is a Swiss politician ( GPS ).

Life

Christine Häsler attended schools in Grindelwald and Wilderswil. She then completed a commercial apprenticeship at the Grindelwald municipal administration and later worked as the Lütschental municipality clerk . From 2011 to 2018 she was Head of Communication at the Oberhasli power plants .

Häsler is divorced, mother of four children and lives in Burglauenen .

politics

Häsler was a member of the Grand Council of the Canton of Bern from 2002 to 2015 and served as head of the Green parliamentary group from 2006 to 2014. In the cantonal elections in 2014, she achieved the second-best result in her constituency.

After Alec von Graffenried resigned, Häsler moved up to the National Council in June 2015 . She was elected to the Government Council of the Canton of Bern on March 28, 2018 and then resigned from the National Council. For she moved Aline Trede after. In the government council she took over the education and culture directorate (BKD) from her party colleague Bernhard Pulver .
