Hartmut Moede

Hartmut Moede (born January 13, 1944 in Eutin ) is a retired German Lieutenant General . D. He was u. a. Deputy Inspector General , Inspector of the Central Military Services and Commissioner for Reservist Affairs of the Bundeswehr.

Life

Promotions

In 1963 Moede joined the Luftwaffe-Air Defense Battalion 42 of the Bundeswehr as a gunner in Oldenburg. In 1964/65 he graduated from the Air Force Officer's School (OSLw) in Neubiberg near Munich. From 1965 to 1968 he was an anti-aircraft missile officer in 3./Flugabwehr-Raketenbataillon 37 in Aurich. From 1968 to 1970 he was lecture director at the OSLw. From 1970 to 1974 he was used as an anti-aircraft missile officer and operational officer in the anti-aircraft missile battalion 37 in Aurich and Bremerhaven. 1974/75 he was the battery chief of the 1st / Anti-aircraft missile battalion 37 in Westertimke.

From 1975 to 1977 he completed the 20th general staff course (L) at the command academy of the Bundeswehr (FüAkBw) in Hamburg. From 1977 to 1979 he was a staff general staff officer of the 4th Air Force Division in Aurich and 1979/80 in the air fleet command in Cologne. From 1980 to 1983 he was an operational general staff officer / department head. From 1983 to 1986 he was a consultant in the planning staff of the Federal Minister of Defense (PlStab) under Ministerial Director Hans Rühle in Bonn. From 1987 to 1989 he was the commander of the anti-aircraft missile regiment 4 in Bremervoerde, which was reclassified to anti-aircraft missile command 2 in 1989 . In 1990 he became head of the air defense department at the HQ Allied Air Forces Central Europe (AAFCE) on Ramstein Air Base near Kaiserslautern. In 1992/93 he was head of division in the command staff of the armed forces (Fü S IV 1) in Bonn.

In 1993/94 he was head of the organization department in the command staff of the armed forces (Fü S IV) in Bonn. From 1995 to 1997 he was head of the command center of the Bundeswehr (FüZBw) at the Fü S in Bonn. During this time he was also the head of the coordination staff for operational tasks of the Bundeswehr (KSEA). From 1997 to 1999 he was Chief of Staff in the Fü S and then under Generals Hartmut Bagger and Hans-Peter von Kirchbach, Deputy Inspector General of the Bundeswehr (StvGenInsp), Inspector of the Central Military Services (InspZMilDBw) and Commissioner for reservist matters of the Bundeswehr (BResAngel Bw) in Bonn, from 2000 for special use. In 2001 he became Deputy Commander-in-Chief Regional Command Allied Forces North Europe (RC AFNORTH) in Brunssum, Netherlands. In 2003 it was adopted with a big tattoo by Federal Defense Minister Peter Struck .

He is married and has one child.
