Heidi Moneymaker

Heidi Louise Moneymaker (born February 9, 1978 in Santa Rosa , California ) is a stunt woman .

Life

Moneymaker attended UCLA . As a competitive gymnast, she took part in national competitions of the National Collegiate Athletic Association for the school and won gold medals on uneven bars and pommel horse .

She has appeared as a stunt woman in numerous films and television shows and doubled various actresses such as Drew Barrymore in Charlie's Angels - Full Power (2003), Rachel Bilson in OC, California (from 2003), Moon Bloodgood in Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) and Scarlett Johansson in the Marvel films (since 2010).

For her work in the 2009 action film Fast & Furious - New Model. Original parts. In 2010 she received a Taurus Award in the Best Vehicle Stunt category, which she shares with Kenny Alexander , Troy Brown , Gene Hartline and Tad Griffith . For the same film, she also received a Taurus Award nomination for best stunt woman. In the same year, together with numerous stunt colleagues, she won the Screen Actors Guild Award for the science fiction film Star Trek in the category Best Stunt Ensemble . In 2013 she received another Taurus Award in the category Best Fighting Scene for the 2012 film Marvel's The Avengers , this time together with Chick Bernhardt and Jeff Wolfe .

As an actress, Moneymaker starred in the role of Cassidy Daniels in the episode Freier Fall , the first episode of the third season of CSI: NY in 2006 .

For the game Tomb Raider: Underworld , released in 2008 , Moneymaker captured the movements of the title hero Lara Croft via motion capturing .
