IC 3054 is an elliptical dwarf galaxy of the Hubble-type dE in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 56 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 5,000 ly. Under catalog number VCC 109 it is part of the Virgo galaxy cluster .
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4189 , IC 3059 , IC 3062 , IC 3066 .
The object was discovered by Royal Harwood Frost on May 7, 1904 .
