IC 674 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sab with an active galaxy core in the constellation Great Bear in the northern sky . It is an estimated 337 million light years from the Milky Way and about 170,000 light years in diameter .
The object was discovered by Rudolf Spitaler on May 24, 1892 .
