IC 671 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sb in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 524 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 200,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of the sky is u. a. the galaxy NGC 3521 , IC 673 .
The object was discovered on March 11, 1893 by Stéphane Javelle .
