IC 673 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sb with extensive star formation areas in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 167 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter .
In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3521 and IC 671 .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on April 22, 1892 .
