2015 IDM season
At the International German Motorcycle Championship 2015 , titles were awarded in the IDM Superbike , IDM Superstock 1000, IDM Supersport , IDM SuperNaked, IDM Moto3 GP, IDM Moto3 Standard and IDM Sidecar classes.
With a year off, the Moto3 class was held again this season. It is divided into Moto3 GP and Moto3 Standard , drive together, but are rated separately. Also new this season is the SuperNaked class, which competes with the super athletes and is also rated separately.
16 races and 15 races in Supersport / SuperNaked were held in the Superbike / Superstock classes. Nine races were driven in the sidecars and eight races in the Moto3 GP / Standard classes.
Distribution of points
When allocating points, the placements in the overall result of the respective race were taken into account. The top fifteen drivers in each race received points according to the following scheme: The driver or manufacturer who has accumulated the most points in the world championship by the end of the season will be the world champion.
