Fontana (or Il-Fontana ) is a village in the center of the island of Gozo in the Republic of Malta . 922 people live there (as of December 31, 2018).

Fontana is a suburb of Victoria Rabat on the road from Rabat to Xlendi . The residents call their village Triq tal-Għajn (Eng. Quellenstrasse). This name comes from a spring ( Italian fontana ) on the road to Xlendi, which is known as Il-Gnajn il-Kbira (English: large springs). In the 16th century, a spring socket with arcades was built as a washing area for the residents.

The local church (Knisja Parrokjali tal-Qalb ta 'Ġesu) was built between 1892 and 1904. It is consecrated to the Heart of Jesus , in whose honor the annual village festival is celebrated around the third week of June.
