Jaime Alberto Preciado (born May 17, 1986 in San Diego , California ) is an American rock musician and record producer. He is the bass player, keyboard player and background singer with Pierce the Veil and has already released a solo album. Like the other members of Pierce the Veils, he has Mexican roots. His family comes from the Mexican city of Guadalajara .

Life

His family comes from the Mexican city of Guadalajara . He was born on May 17, 1986 in San Diego , California and has a brother. According to the British Kerrang! Preciado is working on his pilot's license . As a child, Preciado first learned to play the trumpet . Later he got a bass guitar from his uncle.

Career

Before Jaime Preciado joined Pierce the Veil as bass player, he was active with Trigger My Nightmare , where he also played bass . Pierce the Veil's current guitarist, Tony Perry, also played on Trigger My Nightmare.

With Pierce the Veil, Preciado released three albums: A Flair for the Dramatic (2007), Selfish Machines (2010) and Collide with the Sky (2012), both of which were able to position themselves in the US charts. As a producer, he recorded the EP The Art of Breaking Hearts with the American pop rock band Steal the Scenery and was a guest singer in two songs on this EP. Preciado also worked as a producer on the 2010 Punk Goes Classic Rock compilation. He also produced the first single, Get Your Mind Right of MikeyWhiskeyHands what about the sub label of Rise Records , Velocity Records , has been released.

As a solo artist, Preciado has recorded and released three songs with Believe You Me , Anatome and I'm the Secret . He is also responsible for the beats of rapper and fellow musician MikeyWhiskeyHands ( Mike Fuentes ). His pseudonym is The Architechhh .
