The A Flair for the Dramatic Tour is a combination of several concert tours by the US post-hardcore band Pierce the Veil from San Diego , whose aim was to promote the group's debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic . A total of eight individual concert tours, most of which took place in the United States and Canada , included the A Flair for the Dramatic Tour . Only The Blackout UK Tour , which ran from October 4th to 17th, 2007, took place in the UK . The tour started on September 23, 2007 in Grand Rapids and ended on April 9, 2009 in Montreal . In total, the group played 221 shows.
Background and course of the tour
The concert tours, all on their own, were played to promote the band's debut album, A Flair for the Dramatic (released June 26, 2007 via Equal Vision Records ). The first tour took place between September 23, 2007 and October 2, 2007 in the United States . The group supported Chiodos , The Devil Wears Prada , Alesana and Simcoe Street Mob . Pierce the Veil only appeared on the first half of the tour. Underminded completed the second half of the concert tour . The tour was called I'm a Mathlete, Not an Athlete Tour . Between October 4th and 17th, 2007, a 14-day concert tour followed as the opening act for The Blackout . Flood of Red played as a further opening act .
Pierce the Veil then toured again as opening act for Chiodos and The Devil Wears Prada. Furthermore, Scary Kids, Scaring Kids and Emery were on this tour, which led the United States and Canada . This was followed by the Rather Be Slayin Noobz Tour , which the group completed as the opening act for From First to Last and Four Year Strong . Envy on the Coast appeared as a further supporting act . The concert tour ran from November 19, 2007 to December 9, 2007.
Pierce the Veil in March 2009.
In early 2008, Pierce the Veil played again with Emery. Moreover occurred As Cities Burn , Mayday Parade and Cry of the Afflicted in on the 45 concerts comprehensive tour. On April 6, 2008 the group played on the Bamboozle Left in Irvine . In total, more than 20,000 visitors attended the two-day - but now no longer taking place - festival. Between June 20, 2008 and August 17, 2008 the group played the full Warped Tour for the first time , where the group could be seen on the Hurley Stage with All Time Low , We the Kings and Mayday Parade, among others. The Delicious Tour followed in October and November, where the group opened up for Breathe Carolina , Emarosa and Four Letter Lie . Between February 14, 2009 and April 9, 2009, the Taste of Chaos tour followed with Thursday , Bring Me the Horizon , Four Year Strong and Cancer Bats with Pierce the Veil.
