Jan Theiler (pseudonyms: Pastor Leumund , Michael Fieling , MC Abitur ) (* 1967 ) is a German Dadaist artist, cultural activist and politician.

Life

Jan Theiler studied art in the 1990s and joined various collectives in the East Berlin squatter scene . He worked as a curator, performance artist and musician in the underground art scene and organized large music and performance events in locations such as Duncker14 , K77 , Prater , Kule , Tacheles and others. a. At the beginning of the 2000s Jan Theiler also worked in Zurich . He is a co-founder of the Kroesus Foundation , occupied the Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich and became a spokesman for the Neo-Dadaists. In addition to the curatorial work for the international Dada festival weeks (with Mark Divo), he carried out participatory art and music projects, performances and radio productions. Since 2005, Jan Theiler has dedicated himself to the mountain party he co-founded and of which he was chairman until 2016. In addition, he was and is active as a non-denominational preacher, musician and interactiveist.
