John Bello Story II is a mixtape by the German rapper Kool Savas . It was released on October 17, 2008 on his label Optik Records as a standard, premium and limited edition, including bonus CD and DVD. On March 27, 2009, a remix version of the album was released as a Brainwash Edition .

The music producers Melbeatz , Amar , Ronald Mack Donald, Sir Jai, Sti, Strike Beatz, Mad Skill, Ryo Roesch, Riptor, Stiffla, Peerless and Jopez were involved in the production of the album . In addition, Kool Savas himself and Tua each produced a song from the Brainwash Edition .

The album cover of the standard edition is in red tones and shows Kool Savas wearing a baseball cap and pointing with his index finger at the viewer. In the upper part of the picture are the white lettering Optik Records presented and Kool Savas , while the title John Bello Story II is in white in the lower part of the picture. The participating artists are also listed at the bottom of the picture. The cover of the Premium Edition is in black and white and shows Kool Savas, who looks down at the viewer and holds out both hands in front of his body. The lettering is arranged like on the standard edition. The Brainwash Edition adorns a colorful cover on which Kool Savas points with his index finger at the viewer.

In addition to Kool Savas, many other artists appear on the mixtape. The mixtape entered the German album charts at number 10 on October 31, 2008 and was at number 42 in the following weeks; 45 and 72 before exiting the top 100. After the release of the Brainwash Edition , the album entered the charts again for a week at position 45. In Austria and Switzerland, the sound carrier also reached number 45 and 13 respectively.

A week before the album was released, the song Krone was released as a single , which, however, could not reach the charts. Music videos were also released for the songs Feuer , Der Proof 2 - Mammut Remix , Futurama , Rapfilm , Brainwash and Charisma .
