José Luis Alonso Rodríguez

José Luis Alonso Rodríguez (born July 30, 1969 in Ourense ) is a Spanish legal scholar .

Life

In 1992 he obtained the degree lic. iur. from the University of Santiago de Compostela and in 1996 the doctorate from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Doctor Europaeus). From 1997 to 1999 he was a lecturer in Roman law at the Law Faculty of the University of the Basque Country . From 1999 to 2001 he was a temporary professor of Roman law at the Law Faculty of the University of the Basque Country. From 2001 to 2017 he was Professor of Roman Law at the Law Faculty of the University of the Basque Country . From 2009 to 2013 he was Professor of Ancient History and Legal Papyrology at the Historical Faculty of Warsaw University . In 2017 he became full professor for Roman law, legal papyrology and private law at the University of Zurich .
