Tanja Domej

Tanja Domej (* 1977 ) is an Austrian legal scholar and professor of civil procedural law, private law, international private law and comparative law at the University of Zurich .

Domej attended schools in Klagenfurt . She studied law at the University of Vienna and obtained her Magister iuris (Mag. Iur.) In 1999 . In 2005 she received her doctorate on the subject of "The official party in administrative proceedings". From 2002 to 2005 she assisted Paul Oberhammer in Vienna and Zurich. From 2005 to 2011 she was senior assistant at the Law Institute of the University of Zurich, where she has held a chair since the autumn semester 2011 . She is the author of monographs, commentaries and numerous articles.
