Brigitte Tag (* 1959 in Kriens ) is a Swiss legal scholar. She is full professor for criminal law , criminal procedural law and medical law at the University of Zurich .

Life

Brigitte Tag went to school in Tuttlingen and passed her Abitur there . After earning his degree in administration she studied at the University of Heidelberg Law and was established in 1994 after the Second legal state exam at the Faculty of Heidelberg at Thomas Hillenkamp to Doctor iuris utriusque doctorate . Her with summa cum laude excellent dissertation deals primarily covers with white collar crime issues. In January 2000 Brigitte Tag completed her habilitation at the law faculty in Heidelberg . She was awarded the venia legendi for criminal law, criminal procedural law and medical law.

Brigitte Tag was appointed full professor at the law faculty of the University of Zurich with effect from October 1, 2002 . She has been a full member of the Academia Europaea since 2011 . In 2013 she was elected to the Leopoldina .
