Jyderup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the island of Sjælland in Denmark . 4,676 inhabitants live in the parish, 4,338 of them in the parish (as of January 1, 2020).
history
Until 1970 she belonged to the Harde Tuse Herred in the then Holbæk office , then to the Tornved municipality in the Vestsjællands office , which was merged into the Holbæk municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the local government reform on January 1, 2007 . The church "Jyderup Kirke" is located in the parish.

Worth seeing
The Jyderup dolmens were built between 3500 and 2800 BC. Built by the people of the Funnel Beaker Culture (TBK). The megalithic complexes are located on the Amtsvejen north-west of the village.
