The canton of Montbéliard-Est was a French canton in the Doubs department from 1973 to 2015 and in what was then the Franche-Comté region . It included 22 parishes in the arrondissement of Montbéliard ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Montbéliard . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Marie-Noëlle Biguinet was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2011 to 2015.
