The Canton of Besançon-Sud was 2015 a French constituency in the Doubs and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It included part of the city of Besançon and ten other municipalities in the arrondissement of Besançon ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Besançon. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Yves-Michel Dahoui was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2001 to 2015.
