The Canton Clerval was 2015 a French constituency in the Doubs and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised 23 parishes in the arrondissement of Montbéliard ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Clerval . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. The last representative in the conseil général des Départements was Frédéric Cartier from 2008 to 2015.
