The canton of Amancey was 2015 a French canton in the department of Doubs and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It comprised 19 parishes in the arrondissement of Besançon ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Amancey . The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Patrick Ronot was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2001 to 2015.
