The Canton Besancon-Est was 2015 a French constituency in the Doubs and in the former region of Franche-Comte . It included part of the city of Besançon and two other municipalities in the arrondissement of Besançon ; its main town (French: chef-lieu ) was Besançon. The nationwide changes in the composition of the cantons resulted in its dissolution in March 2015. Patricia Olivares was the last representative in the conseil général des Départements from 2012 to 2015.
