The Canton Besancon-6 is a French canton in the department of Doubs in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It covers part of the city of Besançon and 11 other municipalities in the Arrondissement of Besançon . During the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was newly created in 2015 with Besançon as the main town (French:  bureau centralisateur ).
