Location of the canton of Bavans in the Doubs department

The Canton Bavans is a French administrative unit in the department of Doubs in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It includes 71 municipalities from the arrondissements of Besançon and Montbéliard . During the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons, it was newly created in 2015 with Bavans as the main town (French:  bureau centralisateur ).
