Roche-lès-Clerval is located in eastern France in the Jura Mountains on the Doubs , about 38 kilometers northeast of Besançon , the prefecture of the department, 29 kilometers southwest of Montbéliard , the seat of the sub-prefecture of the arrondissement, and three kilometers southwest of Clerval , at an average altitude of 415 meters above sea ​​level . Saint-Pierre church

The Saint-Pierre church in Roche-lès-Clerval belongs to the Roman Catholic community Unité pastorale de Clerval , which is part of the La Vallée du Doubs deanery of the Archdiocese of Besançon . The church is dedicated to the apostle Simon Peter . It was built in 1723.

The local lavoir was built in the 19th century. The statue of the Virgin Mary on the Lavoir comes from the old monastery of Clerval.
