Economy and Infrastructure

Burnevillers was a village dominated by agriculture (cattle breeding and dairy farming) well into the 20th century. Even today, the residents live mainly from their work in the first sector. Outside the primary sector there are no jobs in the village. Some workers are also commuters who work in the surrounding larger towns.

The village is far away from the larger thoroughfares. Access is either from Glère or from Indevillers. Another road connection exists with the Swiss community of Soubey.
