The Communauté de communes des Deux Vallées Vertes is a French association of municipalities with the legal form of a Communauté de communes in the department of Doubs in the region Bourgogne Franche-Comté . It was founded on September 22, 2016 and comprises 54 municipalities (as of January 1, 2019). The administrative headquarters are located in Pays de Clerval .

Historical development

The community association was created with effect from January 1, 2017 through the merger of the predecessor organizations

with access to the community of Désandans from the abandoned Communauté de communes de la Vallée du Rupt .

With effect from January 1, 2018, the municipality of Rillans left the association and switched to the Communauté de communes du Doubs Baumois .

On January 1, 2019, the former municipalities of Pays de Clerval and Chaux-lès-Clerval formed the Commune nouvelle Pays-de-Clerval . The administrative center passed to the municipality of Pays-de-Clerval. This reduced the number of member communities to 54.
