Economy and Infrastructure

Until well into the 20th century, Cubrial was a village dominated by agriculture (arable farming, fruit growing and cattle breeding) and forestry. In addition, there are now a few local small businesses, including a sawmill. In the meantime the village has turned into a residential community. Many workers are therefore commuters who work in the larger towns in the area.

The place is well developed in terms of traffic. It is located on the main road D50, which leads from Baume-les-Dames to Villersexel . The closest connection to the A36 motorway is around 17 kilometers away. Further road connections exist with Cubry and Pont-sur-l'Ognon.
