Karin Hänel

Karin Hänel (married Antretter ; * May 28, 1957 ) is a former German long jumper .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1977 in San Sebastián, she was seventh. In the following year, an eighth place at the European Indoor Championships in Milan was followed by a seventh place at the European Championships in Prague .

In 1981 she won the European Indoor Championships in Grenoble with the indoor world record of 6.77 m. In 1982 she won silver at the European Indoor Championships in Milan and was eighth at the European Championships in Athens .

In 1978 she became German champion, in 1981 and 1982 German runner-up. In the hall she was champion in 1977 and 1978 and vice-champion in 1981 and 1982.

Karin Hänel started for the OSC Dortmund in 1977 , from 1978 to 1981 for the ASV Köln and in 1982 for the LG Ahlen / Hamm.
