Karl Heinrich Hager

Karl Heinrich Hager (born January 17, 1868 in Mainz , † December 25, 1946 in Simbach am Inn ) was a German civil engineer , rector of the Technical University of Munich and director of the Bavarian State Trade Agency .

He studied civil engineering at the technical universities in Dresden and Munich from 1889 to 1893 and subsequently worked as a reinforced concrete specialist and traffic scientist. In 1908, the Technical University of Munich appointed him full professor of engineering. During the time of political upheaval, he was rector of the university from 1917 to 1919. In 1919 Hager was appointed director of the Bavarian State Trade Organization in Nuremberg . He stayed that way until 1930.
