Kaspar Dantscher

Kaspar Dantscher (born March 4, 1878 in Abensberg ; † July 18, 1944 in Munich ) was a professor of hydraulic engineering.

In 1917 he was appointed professor for hydraulic engineering. From 1922 he was senior construction director of the newly founded Rhein-Main-Donau AG . From 1927 to 1929 he was professor for hydraulic engineering and building construction theory and rector of the TH Munich. At the request of the civil engineering department, he received an honorary doctorate from the TH Dresden in June 1928 . He initiates the planning of a hydraulic engineering research institute for civil engineers.
