Francisco "Kiko" Casilla Cortés (born October 2, 1986 in Alcover ) is a Spanish football goalkeeper who is under contract with Leeds United .
Player career
The native Catalan Casilla comes from the youth of Real Madrid . In his first professional season for Real Madrid Castilla , he was their third goalkeeper.
In the 2007-08 season, Casilla was the third force at Espanyol Barcelona in the Primera División . In January 2008 in a 2-1 away defeat at Real Valladolid , he played his first game from the start. In the seasons 2008/09 and 2009/10 he played on loan at FC Cádiz and in the 2010/11 season at FC Cartagena .
For the 2015/16 season , Kiko Casilla moved back to his youth club Real Madrid . He won the 2015/16 UEFA Champions League as a substitute for Keylor Navas in 2016 and the UEFA Supercup three months later . On December 18, 2016, he won the FIFA Club World Cup with his club without having been used in the tournament.
On January 17, 2019, Casilla moved to the English second division club Leeds United , with whom he received a contract that ran until June 30, 2023.
