Church district of Gütersloh

The Evangelical Church District Gütersloh is one of 27 church districts within the Evangelical Church of Westphalia . It was created in 1949 when it was separated from the Bielefeld church district . The official seat is the city of Gütersloh . The Halle parish is also administered from there. The Gütersloh church district comprises 112,951 believers and is divided into 17 parishes from parts of the Gütersloh and Warendorf districts as well as the independent city of Bielefeld . The superintendent is Frank Schneider.
