Klon ( German  Klonn , 1938 to 1945 Zwerghöfen ) was an independent place in today's Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . Its local office is located in the area of ​​the urban and rural community Mikołajki (Nikolaiken) in the Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).

Geographical location

The local office Klons is located in the middle of the Warmia-Masurian Voivodeship , only three kilometers southwest of the village Zełwągi (Selbongen) on state road 16 . From there a road leads to Klon.

history

The small village, called Klon after 1785 and Klonn until 1938, was founded in 1752 and consisted of only a few small farms. 1874 was in the District damage ( polish Stare Sady incorporated) used for Sensburg in Administrative district Gumbinnen (1905 and 1945 was: administrative district Allenstein ) in the Prussian province of East Prussia belonged.

Around 1928, Klonn, where 26 residents were registered in 1910, was incorporated into the neighboring municipality of Selbongen (in Polish Zełwągi ) and on June 3 (officially confirmed on July 16) 1938 renamed "Zwerghöfen". The village does not exist today as an independent place, but has merged into Zełwągi (Selbongen) and is seen today as part (in Polish : Część wsi ) of this very place within the urban and rural municipality of Mikołajki .
