Mikołajki (Osada leśna) ( German  Nikolaiken, Forsthaus ) is a small settlement in the Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship and belongs to the urban and rural municipality of Mikołajki (Nikolaiken) in the Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).

Geographical location

The small forest settlement Mikołajki is located two kilometers south of the town of Mikołajki in the north of the Masurian Landscape Protection Park (Polish: Mazurski Park Krajobrazowy ), 19 kilometers southeast of the district town of Mrągowo ( German  Sensburg ) in the middle of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship .

The Nikolaiken forestry department belonged to the Nikolaiken state forest in the Sensburg district until 1945 . In 1874 the manor district Nikolaiken, Forst became part of the Nikolaiken district , which was renamed " Bubrowko District " (Polish Bobrówko ) after 1931 and "Biebern District" in 1938 and belonged to the Prussian province of East Prussia .
