Nowe Nadawki ( German  Vollmarstein ) was a formerly independent place in the now Polish Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship . Its local office is located in the area of the urban and rural community Mikołajki (Nikolaiken) in the Powiat Mrągowski ( Sensburg district ).

geography

The Nowe Nadawkis branch is located ten kilometers south-east of the district town of Mrągowo ( German:  Sensburg ) on the former German Reichsstraße 127 , today's Polish state road 16 .

history

In 1855 as Vorwerk , the town was founded (also spelled: Nadawken) in 1894 with the Good Nadafken to Gutsbezirk summarized Nadafken. Located in the East Prussian district of Sensburg , the Nadafken manor district was renamed "Vollmarstein manor district" on March 4, 1895. In 1910 it had 96 inhabitants.

Due to the provisions of the Versailles Treaty , the population in the Allenstein voting area , to which Vollmarstein belonged, voted on July 11, 1920 on whether they would continue to belong to East Prussia (and thus to Germany) or join Poland. In Vollmarstein, 80 people voted to remain with East Prussia, while Poland did not vote.

On September 30, 1928 the manor district Vollmarstein and the manor district Barranowen came to the rural community Barranowen (1938 to 1945 Hoverbeck , Polish Baranowo ), in which they were incorporated.

When the whole of southern East Prussia was transferred to Poland in 1945 as a result of the war , this also affected Vollmarstein, which now received the Polish form of name “Nowe Nadawki”. After 1945 the place was only mentioned sporadically and seems to have merged into Baranowo .

Until 1945 Vollmarstein was parish in the Protestant Church of Barranowen in the church province of East Prussia of the Church of the Old Prussian Union and in the Catholic Church of St. Adalbert Sensburg in the Diocese of Warmia .
