Kolshorn is a village in the Hanover region , ten kilometers northeast of Hanover and five kilometers northwest of Lehrte , in Lower Saxony .

Kolshorn is part of the city of Lehrte . It consists of two parts, to the northeast is the main town of Kolshorn, and to the southwest, about a kilometer away, is the much smaller Klein-Kolshorn. Neighboring towns are Aligse and Röddensen in the east, Ahlten in the south, Isernhagen in the west and Beinhorn in the north.
