Konradin Kunze

Konradin Kunze (born September 29, 1977 in Freiburg im Breisgau ) is a German actor , director and author .

Live and act

As a child, Kunze played as a child actor at the Freiburg Theater under the direction of Friedrich Schirmer . After completing school at the Waldorf School and graduating from high school, he studied at the Hanover University of Music and Drama . From 2002 to 2005 he played in the ensemble of the children's and youth theater moks at the Bremen Theater under the direction of Klaus Schumacher . From 2005 to 2009 he was part of the ensemble of the Junge Schauspielhaus at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus Hamburg , where he played a. a. the title role in " Törless " after Robert Musil . For the Junge Schauspielhaus he directed the story “NippleJesus” by Nick Hornby and “ Paradise Now ” based on the film of the same name by Hany Abu-Assad .

Since 2009 he has worked as a freelance director, author and actor.

His play "foreign angst" was presented in 2011 at the Heidelberger Stückemarkt and the Stückemarkt of the Berlin Theatertreffen and premiered at the Hessian State Theater in Wiesbaden . His screenplay for the animated film “ The Last World ” based on the novel by Christoph Ransmayr was awarded the German Animation Screenplay Prize at the 2011 Trickfilmfestival Stuttgart . His production of "Orphans" (by Dennis Kelly) was invited to the German Children's and Youth Theater Meeting in Berlin in 2019 .

Since 2011 he has been developing research-based productions with the independent theater and performance group Flinn Works .

Konradin Kunze is the youngest son of the literary and linguist Konrad Kunze .
