Career

Wycombe Wanderers

Home was born in the Redbridge district of London and made his first football steps at Lakeview Football Club before joining the youth division of West Ham United at the age of 8 . His great desire to break through as a professional footballer at his home club suffered a setback when he was "sorted out" in West Ham in 2011 at the age of 16. Via the Birmingham City detour , home then tried the Wycombe Wanderers . There he knew how to convince in the fourth division from 2012 and the "left foot" gradually developed into a regular player in the following two years. He made his debut on November 3, 2012 by substitution against Crewe Alexandra (1: 4) and in total he played 31 competitive games in the first team up to an ankle injury in November 2013.

Wolverhampton Wanderers

At the end of January 2014 he moved home to Wolverhampton Wanderers . He signed a 2½-year contract with the then third division team, who realized promotion to the second highest division in the remaining games . At home, however, could not contribute anything and at the beginning of the 2014/15 season, the "Wolves" loaned him to the third division Gillingham FC . The term was dated to January 2015, but after a total of 17 appearances for the "Gills" he was called back to Wolverhampton in November 2014. There he made his debut on December 13, 2014 in a 1-0 win at Sheffield Wednesday and especially after the departure of Richard Stearman established himself at home in the Wolves defensive network. From the 2017/18 season he received fewer opportunities under the new coach Nuno Espírito Santo . Nonetheless, he signed a new three-year contract in April 2018. When prospects did not improve in the following year after the first division promotion, the club loaned him to second division Aston Villa in January 2019 .

Aston Villa

The transaction provided for employment until the end of the 2018/19 season plus an option for a permanent transfer. Home was used in a total of eleven league games and once in the playoffs for the "Villans" and helped the club to rise to the Premier League. Shortly thereafter, Aston Villa announced it had signed Home for a £ 3 million transfer fee.

National team

Home was a regular in the English U-20 team and the U-21 , with whom he won the 2016 Toulon tournament. In the final, they started at home against France and won 2-1.
