history

Originally the location was called Wimm , corrupted from Middle High German  widem (for dedication ), as a property or farmstead donated to the parish church. The farms Oberwimm, Mitterwimm, Unterwimm and Großwimm are located here . These are goods that were given to Pfarrwerfen early on .

However, the place name Wimm has "migrated" to the other side of the Salzach or to Tenneck, while the name Landl can be found here on more recent maps , which probably describes the small valley area that belongs together through ownership. In the meantime, Landl was the main town in the village of Sulzau , which today is a northern location.

The farmsteads Ober- and Unterbirbaum and Ober- and Unterhagen south of Tenneck also belong to the scattered settlement today .
