List of Finance Ministers of Japan
The Minister of Finance of Japan ( Japanese 財務 大臣 , zaimu-daijin ; until 2001: 大 蔵 大臣 , ōkura-daijin ) is a member of the Japanese cabinet . He heads the Ministry of Finance . Before the establishment of the cabinet in 1885, this office was called Ōkura-kyō ( 大 蔵 卿 ) and was part of the Daijō-kan .
