List of cultural assets in Vechigen
The list of cultural assets in Vechigen contains all objects in the municipality of Vechigen in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .
Objects of category A are not shown in the municipality, objects of category B are fully included in the list, objects of category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The castle , built between 1664 and 1669, is an important transverse rectangular early baroque building under a steep hipped roof , which is slightly elevated to the northwest of the village center of Utzig in the middle of a garden and courtyard. The south-west facade rises above a terraced forecourt with an exposed basement flanked by corner pillars. A central stair tower is attached to the northeast side , which, like the palace, is structured by corner blocks.

The castle , built in 1729 for Junker Hans Rudolf von Diesbach, is a high baroque plastered building under a bent hipped roof . The almost square structure in the middle of a garden landscape has structures made of sandstone. The center of the five-axis south front is accentuated by a French door with a supraport and a balcony on volute consoles . |
