List of cultural assets in Moosseedorf

The list of cultural assets in Moosseedorf contains all objects in the municipality of Moosseedorf in the canton of Bern that are subject to the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict , the Federal Act of June 20, 2014 on the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflicts and the Ordinance of 29 June 2014 October 2014 on the protection of cultural property in the event of armed conflict .

Objects in categories A and B are completely included in the list, objects in category C are currently missing (as of January 1, 2018). Among other monuments protected objects are found, the "worthy of protection" in the canton of Bern Bauinventar than are listed.

The remains of a Paleolithic reindeer hunter's station that were used around 14,500 to 12,000 years ago were discovered in 1860 and excavated in 1971 . With over 70,000 silices , the outdoor station, which consists of two tent sites, is the largest site of Magdalenian culture in Switzerland. Due to the unusual conservation conditions, it is also one of the most important sites of this time in the foothills of the Alps.

Church building built between 1520 and 1528 on the initiative of Peter von Englisberg , which is a predecessor from the 12th / 13th centuries. Century replaced. Impeccable late Gothic country church under a gable roof with a distinctive roof turret . The single-nave church opens into a choir with a three-eighth end, which is structured with pilaster strips and cornices made of sandstone .
